The $16 Gordon Ramsay Burger

The $16 Gordon Ramsay Burger

I live in the city of neon lights where “What Happens Here, Only Happens Here.” I’m talking about the city of Las Vegas! I am a Southern California girl at heart. I knew where my local spots were, but ever since I moved to Vegas, I’m on the lookout for the local spots that may not be on the Strip.

However, this spot is on The Strip that I had to try it out. Gordon Ramsay Burger has eluded me since 2016. Final Fantasy XIV, a massive multi-player online role playing game, held their Fan Festivals in Las Vegas in 2016 and 2018. Both times, there were attempts to try out Gordon Ramsay, but either there was not enough time or fit was not planned well.

There is usually a long wait to get in. There are two lines to get in. One line is for parties of two. For parties of more than two, you speak with the hostess, who will put you on the wait list. You will receive a text message on your phone ten minutes before your table is ready. It’s great if you have a group of people since you can put your name on the list and walk around at the nearby Miracle Mile of Shops. During the holidays, my family was in town and wanted to try it out too. I got there early and put my name down on the list, knowing how popular this restaurant is. Originally, my wait for a party of five would be 2 hours and 30 minutes. However, my dad has a Diamond Rewards card, which gives priority seating at Caesars properties restaurants. He put his name on the wait list and the wait was only 45 minutes! Thank you, Dad!

My mom ordered the Smoked Tomato Soup as an appetizer. My mom loves to share her food, so I was able to grab a taste. The soup was delicious! It came with two pieces of grilled cheese bread to drip into the soup. I was pleasantly surprised, because I would have never thought to order a soup at a burger restaurant. Then again, I have to remind myself that we are at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. The smokiness in the tomato soup shined, and it has a nice consistency that was not watery or too thick. Dipping the grilled cheese bread in the soup gave it an extra kick.

I love a good stout beer, Naturally, I picked the Stout Burger, and I wanted to try the Truffle Parmesan Fries. I can taste a bit of the bitterness from the stout beer on the cheese, and the crispy onions gave the burger a nice crunch. It was a bit messy though, but worth it. All of our burgers were so delicious! The meat was juicy and melted in my mouth after one bite. The truffle fries is a fork needed plate, and must be shared with a group. It had too much going on for me, but it was tasty either way. I actually preferred the Just Fries with the chipotle ketchup and curry ketchup.

The service was wonderful! You can tell by the faces of the people who worked there love their job. If you ever visit Gordon Ramsay Burger, please prepare and plan for the wait unless you have the appropriate rewards card. By the time we were finished and left the restaurant, we spotted a few people in that were still in the party of two line since we first got there to put our names on the wait list.

Is the wait worth it for the burgers? Yes, it is. I’m giving it a definite Noms to Gordon Ramsay Burger. If you are a fan of Gordon Ramsay, it’s a must. It’s an experience and you get to say, “I ate a Gordon Ramsay restaurant!”
